Dance

As a young child, I loved to escape and lock myself in my room.  I would pretend I was onstage and practice dancing for hours on end.

My very first dance teacher was actually my mother.  She is the one who taught me how to communicate to the audience through expression an grace.  She had me learn the hula and begin performing at the age of 7.  During my late teens, I began training in Modern Jazz and Ballet.
Several years I have been a go-go dancer in the Atlanta night club-scene.

I am self-taught having incorporated martial arts fans and candles to my dance repertoire.  Currently burlesque keeps me busy on my twinkle toes.  (See 'Chinita La Chou Chou' under 'Dance' category)   Recently I began taking classes in Chinese sleeve dancing and Zumba.
