Happy Rainy Monday

I'm off today but doing home chores. Dog washing. Blah, blah, blah...
Speaking of dogs, we found Boney a family that would take her in. They came and got her yesterday. I was very sad to see her go but we all know it's for the best. Alex described to me that it is better that we rescued her from an abusive environment and nursed her back to life. We fed and loved her well and now she'll be in a good home where she'll have good care and attention. Plus we'll get to visit her from time to time! And that's our happily ever after ending to the Boney story.

Creative Processing

Black Mona Lisa is rehearsing for the upcoming shows and we've scheduled a photo shoot later this week. I have to say the recent, recruited members rock it and are hot too! Hee, hee... Alex originally had asked me to dance the eye-candy but he later asked if I could sing as well. You bet. I love workin' with my man. Have I reached some Zen in my creative process? It sure does feel like it.
It is very important that I enjoy the creative process. I think when an artist is too focused on attaining power, success and fame then their final result is what only matters. If their goal is not achieved, they just end up constantly bitter and frustrated. I know because I did this for years. It really sucked.
I think it is true that a big, unhealthy ego can kill something beautiful. It is only my opinion... but I believe once the ego is shed and humble, the art begins to exist in its' purest state.
ALL experiences become the 3 G's... Golden, Generous, and Genuine.

Boney now has muscles!

As promised, here is a picture of Boney.

You should have seen her before. She was so malnourished that her ribs were visible including her spine! She had little callouses on her paws from being confined all the time. It's pretty amazing what a little love can do.
