Atlanta’s Blast-Off Burlesque is excited to be taking our show on the road! Hello Asheville, NC!

The show will feature a smorgasbord of some of our favorite acts from our popular SciFi-A-GoGo series. Burlesque acts inspired by television, science fiction, economics, and the weird and wonderful world we live in. Be prepared to laugh, be dazzled, be titillated, and experience the way-out world of Blast-Off Burlesque!

Atlanta’s Blast-Off Burlesque is a collective of neo-burlesque performers, who revel in the traditional vaudeville splendor of the show, spiced with just enough modern edge. Founded in 2006, Blast-Off Burlesque has joined forces with emerging and established talent from across the country. In addition to its integral role in the monthly Silver Scream Spook Show, Blast-Off Burlesque makes regular appearances in Atlanta and around the Southeast. Blast-Off cofounder Dickie Van Dyke has been named Southern Voice’s choice for Best Drag King in its Best of Gay Atlanta 2008 and 2009 awards. Blast Off Burlesque was voted 2009’s “Best Burlesque troupe” by the readers of Creative Loafing Atlanta.

Tickets are $12 in advance, and $15 at the door.

Lobby opens at 6pm, doors at 7pm.
